DaveKevinAdam is an incredible artist I met years ago playing Worst Kept Secret Fest with him in Columbus. Check him out!
He's prolific and always releasing songs or doing something cool.
Also one of the only other Ohio rappers I know who is active in the poetry scene and he is a great poet/writer, as well as a rapper.
This one is about how people get it in their head in this music scene that you owe them favors just because you're acquaintances and you both make music.
But this thing goes both ways and it takes a lot of work and paying dues so to speak before people will put you on.
Getting upset about someone not wanting to work with you,
won't ever makes them want to work with you more.
