Check him out asap. He's versatile and prolific
and he can't make a bad song.
The first time I saw him he was on stage rocking a huge crowd and I ended up in the front row jumping up and down getting hyped as fuck for someone I'd never even heard of, just because his energy and performance was so authentic and powerful that I couldn't help but run to the front and experience it.
This one's about the increasing futility/hopelessness of touring and marketing and how foreboding of a task it can seem to be sometimes just to get anyone to listen to your stuff or come to a show.
Especially when you're just starting out.
It takes a certain type of person to just keep eating failures and wack shows and still waking up every day to push towards what seem like unachievable goals for an independent musician.
